Do not get put off by the University label. We use the word in its broadest sense, people of like minds coming together to learn or to impart life experience to others. We are a charity which is entirely run by volunteers. We draw on the knowledge, experience and skills of our own members to organise and provide interest groups in accordance with the wishes of the membership.
We are part of the Third Age Trust which is the national representative body for U3As in the UK.
Our approach to learning is – LEARNING FOR PLEASURE. There is no accreditation, no validation, no assessments or qualifications to be gained.
